Carpet Cleaning Is Serious Business

Choosing the Best Carpet Cleaning Company

Carpet Cleaning in ColoradoHow many people know how the carpet cleaning industry developed into what it is today? Modern technology, powerful cleaning chemicals, and the skilled, carpet cleaning technicians we have today have evolved because of failed processes in the past. Years ago people used shampoo and a bucket of water to clean their carpets. As a result, carpets were often damaged, bacteria-laden, dull in appearance, and had significantly shorter lives.

The truth is that in Colorado there are many carpet cleaning companies that do not take carpet cleaning seriously; lack the proper equipment, or are inefficient or unqualified to carry out a professional job. On the other hand, Colorado Carpet Masters is highly qualified, experienced, and equipped, and leaves no stone unturned when carrying out carpet cleaning projects for their clients.

Sewage Water Restoration

Can I Clean Carpet - Sewage Damage Restoration?

sewage damage in Commerce CityWater damage to your home is never pleasant.  But sewage water restoration creates a unique set of challenges.I arrived at a home in Commerce City today expecting to cut out a small piece of sewage-damaged carpet from a sewage backup that occurred last week. The carpets were completely dry and we had to determine how far the sewage reached into the room. [It should be noted, that a family member was hospitalized with respiratory issues unrelated to the sewage backup. This complex situation was a determining factor in the ultimate treatment of their carpet.]  The homeowner wished to piece together some carpet scraps and replace the areas that he thought the sewage had reached. We had some very tough decisions to make and I wanted our solution to be cost-effective, considering the stress and worry he was already under with a child in the hospital. His wife showed me where

Dyson Pet Vacuum Review

Is Dyson Pet Vacuum Best for Dog Hair?

Every day I come across carpets loaded with debris and soil, and sometimes I wonder how they get so dirty!  When I ask the client if they own a vacuum, the answer is generally yes. Even still, there are a number of homes and apartments which haven’t seen a vacuum in many years, if ever. More frequently than not, the customer has a vacuum and it merely does not function well or the vacuum bag is full. I have periodically unclogged many vacuums for numerous customers. I use the the Dyson Pet Vacuum as my personal choice, and can give an honest evaluation to you of what I like and dislike about it. Shaw (one of the biggest carpet manufacturers on the planet) suggests you vacuum high traffic locations everyday and areas with average traffic at least twice per week. Thorough vacuuming reduces the quantity of particulate soil and

We often get calls from people who have made their rugs much worse after renting a portable cleaner simply because they did not know the proper methodology for cleaning carpets. The first step to any carpet cleaning is a thorough vacuuming of the carpet prior to the carpet getting wet. An average 9 x 12 rug can hold an amazing 85 pounds of dry soil! Rug Doctor Carpet Cleaning Problems

What to Watch Out For When Using Rug Doctor

Colorado Carpet Masters had a client this week who ran into problems while using a Rug Doctor to clean up a few dog urine stains over the weekend. When we arrived at their home we found a white Berber carpet that had huge yellow stains everywhere. Upon talking to our new client we discovered that she rented a Rug Doctor and cleaned the carpet herself. When she woke up the next day she discovered twice as many stains as the day before. She thought that she was pulling up old urine stains from a previous owner and decided to keep the Rug Doctor an extra day. The second cleaning went even worse than the first and she thought that the carpets were ruined. She finally called us to try and fix the problem.
